One of Heaven's Heroes

Recently a Walgreens Pharmacist in Idaho refused to fill a prescription for Methergine--a drug prescribed to stop severe uterine bleeding caused by either childbirth or abortion. This astute soldier in God's Army suspected that since the nurse calling in the prescription was calling from a Planned Parenthood the drug was, in this instance, needed for a woman who was bleeding to death as a result of an abortion. This brave and courageous pharmacist summoned the Strength of Yahweh and shouted "Not on MY watch!" It's righteousness like this that really puts a smile on the face and a spring in the step our or Lord and Savior.

Since the Grand Old Party (emphasis on old) has realized that it cannot win elections on the issues, it's decided the best plan of action now is to eliminate any person or group who would potentially vote Democratic from the process entirely.

Obama the Socialist

Here's an informative chart, probably put together by some lefty braniac, that clearly shows Obama's 2011 Budget taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor.

Oh wait...it's the other way around. Womp, womp. Well, I'm sure they deserve it. Billionaires need handouts too sometimes.

Texas House Gives Initial Approval to Sonogram Bill

Well it took them awhile but Texas' lawmakers finally realized that sonograms prevent unwanted pregnancies. If you live within a 200 miles radius of San Antonio, you probably heard and/or felt the sigh of relief I let out earlier today when I read that House Bill 15, which:

"requires a physician performing an abortion to also perform a sonogram on the expectant woman 72 to 24 hours before the procedure... the physician is also required to make the sonogram images and heart auscultation accessible to the patient and to describe the results in easy-to-understand language."

had gained initial approval in the House by a 103-42 margin. Winning! Duh.

The consequences of an unwanted pregnancy are now real: see the sonogram, hear the heartbeat, be powerless to carry on with abortion. Less abortions means more unwanted children born into poverty, and that's an outcome we can all get behind. More pregnant women on Medicare and more Texas' children covered by CHIP = Win/Win. Duh.
